Prior to appointment, you will be asked some clinical questions to ensure suitability of referral. We will not take on referrals outside our scope of practice and instead, we will help to refer on to a suitable professional whenever possible. Service Agreement (for NDIS participants only) will be sent for participant to review prior to the initial session.
On the first session, you will be asked questions pertaining to yourself, how you manage your daily activities and when required, and assess your home environment. Schedule of supports to include tasks OT will work with you will be developed and signed off (this is for NDIS participants only). The initial session will take approximately 2 hours.
Assessments of functions will be conducted in the subsequent sessions to assist in developing strategies to suit your needs and goals. Strategies may include assistive technology (AT) trials and prescriptions.
